According to Kansas Pregame, Sterling High School graduate Tyus Wilson, a Big 10 and NCAA Champion high-jumper at the University of Nebraska, is currently training for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
Wilson, who just completed his student teaching and graduated from Nebraska with a degree in elementary education, also won the USA high jump championship in August, securing a spot on Team USA.
Wilson lives in Omaha and trains with his college coach in Lincoln in preparation for the Olympic trials.
