Nickerson went 1-2 and Haven 0-3 at the Kansas Class 3A Regional 4 Quad A Monday night at Burlington.
Nickerson lost to Burlington 27-25, 21-25, 26-24 and Cheney 25-17, 25-22 and defeated Haven 25-17, 18-25, 25-23.
In addition to losing to Nickerson, Haven lost to Cheney 25-21, 25-21 and Burlington 25-21, 19-25, 25-22.
Cheney won the regional title with a 3-0 record. In addition to beating Nickerson and Haven, the Cardinals defeated Haven 25-21, 25-21 and Burlington 25-16, 25-16.
Burlington placed second with a 2-1 record.
