The Hutchinson High boys swim team finished in second place Tuesday in Great Bend, gathering 388 points and finishing behind Hays’ 482 points.
Ethan Nichols won the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 1 minute, 15.54 seconds. The Salthawks also had a pair of second-place finishes, including the 200-yard medley team of Elliott Simpson, Nichols, Kye Reneau and Griffin Davenport, which finished in a time of 2:05.47.
Gibson Malashchuk was second in the 500 freestyle (6:52.0).
