Five players scored in double figures for the Hutchinson High girls basketball team on Friday, as the Salthawks hammered Arkansas City 71-16.
Tenley Keeton led the Salthawks with 17 points, scoring five points in each of the first three quarters. Danai Morgan scored 14 points, Lynnea Alvares added 13 points, Kohlbie Craft scored 12, and Clara Ontjes had 11.
The Salthawks had a good night from the perimeter, sinking 10 3-pointers. The defense was locked in too, as the Salthawks allowed just eight points in the final three quarters.
The Salthawks improve to 4-2 and have won four straight. All four wins have been by at least 18 points.
