Reno County Sabres Post 50-point Win Over Fairfield, Improve to 3-0

The Reno County Sabres Homeschool football team ran its record to 3-0 with a 62-12 win over the Fairfield Falcons Friday night at Langdon.

The Sabres, who ran just 27 plays in the game, led 21-0 after one quarter and outscored the Falcons 42-12 in the second quarter.

The game was called on the 45-point rule with 3 minutes left in the first half.

Junior quarterback Bo Smith completed 14-of-16 passes for 219 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 87 yards on three carries and one TD.

Bo Smith has completed 31-of-39 passes in three games for 493 yards, 14 TDs and no interceptions.

Freshman running back Rock Smith caught five passes for 93 yards and four TDs. He also returned a kickoff 63 yards for another TD.

Rock Smith has rushed for 277 yards on 16 carries this season with four TDs. Freshman wide receiver Colt Smith has six catches for 148 yards and five TDs.

The Sabres will travel to Moran next Friday to play Marmaton Valley. Moran is 168 miles East of Hutchinson on Highway 54.

The Marmaton Valley Wildcats (3-0) defeated Northeast-Arma 70-24 Friday night at Arma.
