Kansas City Washington senior standout Savion Stone has committed to play college football at Hutchinson Community College.
After joining forces with a talented group of upperclassmen to lead the Wildcats to a record-breaking season under coach Cam Smith, the versatile Stone could play a variety of roles for the Blue Dragons and head coach Drew Dallas.
In other signings:
• The Sterling College volleyball program on Friday announced the signing of Kaylin (KayKay) Elton, from Grantsville (Utah) High School, to a letter of intent.
Elton, a 5-foot-10 middle blocker/hitter, made good on the commitment she made in April. She was a Utah Class 3A honorable mention selection by the Deseret News.
Elton also plays basketball for the Grantsville Cowboys.

• Butler Community College has removed the interim tag and made Salina Central alum Kyle Woodall the head football coach.
• Jordi Fahey of Clifton-Clyde High School signed a letter of intent to compete in track and field at Cloud County Community College in Concordia.
Fahey placed second in the Kansas Class 1A state girls pole vault in 2025.
• Sedgwick High School’s triple jump and long jump state champion. Noah Little will continue his academic and athletic career at Fort Hays State University.
• According to Kansas Pregame. coach Rod Stallbaumer’s Basehor-Linwood Bobcats are reaping the benefits of their first ever state title game appearance as a few of their top players are making their college commitments.
Standout wide receiver Nash Morrison has announced his commitment to play football at Division II Washburn.
Nate Martin is considering offers from Washburn, Garden City Community College and Butler Community College.
Quarterback Carson Dixon is considering NAIA and JUCO offers as well as a DII offer from the University of Nebraska-Kearney where he recently took an official visit.
Standout tight end Roman Miller has announced his commitment to the University of Nebraska-Kearney.
All-UKC defensive end Cooper Ingram remains undecided on his future plans.
• Jackson Heights’ Austin Zeller has committed to Northwest Missouri State University to continue his football career after high school.
• Brogan Monty, who is looking to bring home his fourth state wrestling title this season for Beloit, has signed to wrestle for Colorado State University-Pueblo.
• Gardner-Edgerton’s Roman Clouse has officially committed to Minnesota State University to continue his wrestling career.
• Arkansas City’s Jordey Pierce has committed to Emporia State for both football and baseball.
