Power Rankings Week 10 | Where Do the Chiefs Rank Following Sunday’s Victory?

By Matt McMullen,

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins, 21-14, on Sunday to maintain the top spot in the AFC standings while also climbing up the various NFL “power rankings” from around the web.

For example, the folks at USA Today slotted the Chiefs at No. 3 in their rankings this week behind only Baltimore and Philadelphia. Here’s what the rankings’ author, Nate Davis, had to say about Kansas City:

“Currently the AFC’s top-seeded club (again), K.C. also hits its bye ahead of Week 11’s Super Bowl rematch at GEHA Field at Arrowhead against Philadelphia. The reigning AFC champs are surrendering just 15.9 points per game, lowest of the 11-season Andy Reid era.”

Here’s a look at where the Chiefs landed in a handful of other “power rankings” from around the web:

ESPN: No. 2

Sports Illustrated: No. 2

Bleacher Report: No. 2 No. 3

The Sporting News: No. 3

Yahoo! Sports: No. 3
