Nickerson High School senior Jayanna Cornejo will continue her academic and softball career at Fort Scott Community College.
Cornejo’s signing ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Monday at the NHS Cafeteria.
In other signing news:
• Hoisington High School senior Marcus Ingram signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Tabor College.
• Hoisington High School Class of 2027 prospect Brody Pfannenstiel recently announced his commitment to the Texas Tech football program.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound defensive end chose the Red Raiders over a host of offers from major college programs in the Big 12, Big 10 and SEC including Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Mississippi, Vanderbilt, Illinois, Michigan State, Iowa State and others.
