Three Nickerson High School golfers competed in the nine-hole Hoisington Invitational Monday on the par-36 Lake Barton Golf Course.
The Panthers did not field a full team.
Nickerson’s Aubree Nikkel placed ninth in the tournament with a 17-over-par 53. Teammate Jillian Hartman finished 13th with a 56.
Nickerson’s Brooke Michels placed 35th with a 74.
Thomas More Prep-Marian won the team title with a 200 score, followed by Pratt 205, Larned 208, Hays 246, Hoisington 252 and Plainville 267.
TMP’s Brynn Schoepf earned first-place medalists with a 4-over-par 40. Larned’s Ariana Meyer placed second with a 44.
Taeten Reynolds amd Pratt’s Lexi Simmons both fired 48s, with Reynolds beating Simmons in a playoff for third place. Pratt’s Hayden Riffey placed fifth with a 49.
