OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (GoNeosho.com) – Neosho women’s soccer faced a tough challenge on the road against Iowa Lakes, suffering a heavy 6-0 defeat. From the start, Iowa Lakes took control of the game, scoring their first goal early in the match. Despite Neosho’s best efforts, they struggled to find any rhythm, and Iowa Lakes continued to dominate, adding two more goals before halftime. The second half was just as tough for Neosho as Iowa Lakes maintained their pressure, scoring three more goals to seal a commanding victory. With this loss, Neosho will need to regroup and refocus as they prepare for their next match at Pratt Community College on Saturday, September 7th, kickoff at 2pm.
