Callum Niven confidently converted a penalty, putting the Panthers up 1-0 and setting an early tone for the match. Neosho kept pressing, and in the 30th minute, Asaph Silveira found the back of the net, doubling the advantage to 2-0. Johnson fought back and managed to cut the deficit in the 70th minute, making it 2-1 and raising the stakes as both teams battled fiercely. However, Neosho’s defense stayed strong, and in the 84th minute, Callum Niven stepped up again. He sealed the victory with a beautifully placed shot into the bottom corner, securing a well-deserved 3-1 win. The result marked a major accomplishment for Neosho, clinching the Region 6 Championship and further solidifying their impressive season record of 16-1-2. The Panthers will next face #1 Iowa Lakes on November 9th at 5:00 p.m at home., looking to continue their remarkable run in the Plains District Championship.
