The Moundridge High School boys basketball team improved to 7-0 with a 62-21 victory over Sedgwick Friday night at the Moundridge High School gymnasium.
The Moundridge varsity girls basketball team defeated Sedgwick 78-16.
Moundridge led 24-4 in the first quarter, 41-16 at halftime and 56-18 at the end of the third quarter. The host Wildcats outscored the Cardinals 6-3 in the fourth quarter (running clock).
Heath Churchill and Easton Shahan both scored 11 points for the Wildcats. Kaizer Kanitz and Layton Schmidt each scored 9.
Holden Ferralez and Cole McGinn scored 5 points each to lead the Cardinals.
Moundridge teams will play at Bennington on Jan. 6.
