The Moundridge Lady Wildcats lived up to their No. 1 ranking in Class 2A. Using a tenacious man defense along with a balanced offensive attack to pick up their fourth win of the early season, 69-10 over Lyons.
Scoring for Moundridge were Macy Kaminkow with 13 points, and Mackie Conkling with 13 points to lead the Lady Wildcats. Lyons was led in scoring by Sierra Belote with 6 points.
Moundridge is now 4-0 while Lyons drops to 0-2.

The second-ranked Moundridge Wildcats powered past Lyons with high-flying offensive attack that made 10 3-point shots.
Four players were in double figures for the Wildcats as they were led by senior forward Easton Shahan, who had 24 points, including five triples. He was followed by Heath Churchill with 18, Jesse Lutz 12, and Layton Schmidt 10.
The leading scorer for Lyons was Tegan Link with 21 points on 8 field goals, one 3-pointer, and going 2 of 2 from the free throw line.
