GREAT BEND, Kan. – The Great Bend Bat Cats were originally scheduled to face the Kingman Islanders Monday, June 23, but the game was postponed due to inclement weather. The team announced that the reschedule game will be played Thursday, June 26.
The game was scheduled to be the Cajun Connection game, who planned to give the first 100 fans free servings of their famous jambalaya.
The Bat Cats defeated the Islanders on the road 8-1 Saturday, June 21. The team will be on the road Tuesday, June 24 against the Dodge City A’s. They will rematch the A’s at home Wed., June 25.
