LINDSBORG, Kan. (BethanySwedes.com) – The Bethany College Men’s Soccer team played against Oklahoma Wesleyan University, the #2 team in the nation
The Swedes would concede early in the game. However, they made an attempt to hold off the eagles who are one of the favorites for the NAIA national title. The Swedes would keep the result 1-0 at the half and even had some dangerous plays of their own prior to the start of the second half. It was an impressive display from a team who was going against a tough opponent.
In the second half, the Swedes defense line collapsed. Unfortunately, after conceding a second goal, the Swedes were not able to hold off the Eagles any longer. They would concede 7 more goals in the second half while still hitting back with a few dangerous attacking plays. The match would go on to end 8-0 for the Eagles.

The Bethany College Men’s Soccer team will play the Kansas Wesleyan University away on Wednesday October, 30th at 7:30 PM. They look to be competitive against their rivals to the north.
