WICHITA, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) — For the fourth time this season, and second week in a row, Raegan Murphy has picked up KCAC Setter of the Week honors, the league announced Monday (Nov. 11).
“Raegan has continued to be a rock all season for us,” head coach Cory Cahill said. “We’re so happy that she has been recognized consistently at the conference level for her hard work.”
The Whitehall, Mich. native had an outstanding week to help power the Bulldogs to a 2-0 record and clinch a share of the 2024 KCAC Championship. Murphy averaged 7.17 assists per set for the Bulldogs, who ran a 6-2 offense.
She got her week started with 12 assists in the Bulldogs win over Tabor, then followed that with a staggering 31-assist performance in their win over Avila. She also finished with two service aces and 15 digs in the win over the Eagles.
Murphy and the Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow evening for the first round of the KCAC Tournament against Kansas Wesleyan inside Holman Fieldhouse. Tickets can be purchased through the KCAC webpage HERE. Cash or credit card sales at the gate will not be accepted.
