MCPHERSON, Kan. – McPherson soccer opened the season with a 4-0 loss to Newton. The Bullpups finished with four shots on goal. Keeper Trenton Moll had 10 saves.
McPherson returns to the pitch Sept. 5-9 at the Maize South Invitational.
Volleyball
McPherson volleyball split a pair of matches at Tuesday’s Andale Triangular. The Pups defeated Winfield in straight sets, 25-11, 25-14. Their first loss of the season came in match two to Andale, 27-29, 19-25.
