McPherson County was well-represented by the Kansas Volleyball Association (KVA), who released their All-State teams on Sunday, Nov. 16.
Two McPherson High School athletes were named All-State honorees, as both Brooke Doile and Ava Romero were named to the Second Team for 4A.
Three local 2A schools were recognized as well. Hillsboro’s Amyah Werth was named to the First Team, while teammate Lauryn Vogt was named to the Second Team. Moundridge also had two athletes named All-State honorees, with Cammi Unruh named to the Second Team and Hattie Hecox an Honorable Mention. Inman’s Taylor Froese was also an Honorable Mention.
Canton-Galva received some recognition in what was a stacked 1A-Div. 1 field, with Trinity Espinoza named an Honorable Mention.
