McPHERSON, Kan. (MacBulldogs.com) — A well deserved promotion has been given out as head coach T.J. Eskildsen has named former assistant coach Louis Parker as the team’s new associate head coach.
“I’m proud to be able to promote Louis Parker to Associate Head Coach. His passion for the game and ability to relate to players have made him an outstanding Coach. Louis has been a huge part of the success that we have been able to have in the past five years and I am extremely fortunate to be able to have him on our staff. ”
Parker first came to McPherson College during the fall of 2014 as a player. He played for four seasons and began his coaching career as a student assistant under coach Tim Swartzendruber. Parker officially became a part of the McPherson College Men’s Basketball staff in August 2019.
Parker taught as a Physical Education teacher for three years at Washington Elementary in McPherson, Kan. Parker graduated from McPherson College with his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education in May 2019. He graduated with his Master of Education in Sports Administration from East Central University in May of 2024.
