Marion High School Introduces New Head Softball Coach Jayden May

MARION, Kan. – The Marion-Florence USD 408 school district announced via social media the introduction of Jayden May, Marion High School’s new Head Softball Coach.

May recently graduated from Marion High School who starred on the Lady Warriors’ softball team. As a player, she was a three-time all league player and three-time all-state infielder. She also helped the 2021 team become Heart of America League Champions and Regional Champions. May will graduate from Emporia State University following the 2025 winter semester with a degree in Elementary Education.

“I am excited to have Jayden lead our softball program,” Jason Hett, USD 408 Athletic Director, said. “She brings knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a passion for the game to this program. She values hard work, discipline, and doing things the right way.”

“I am incredibly excited to return to my alma mater and be a part of the 2026 Lady Warrior Softball program,” May said.” I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to connect with the girls and their families and to continue to be a part of the game I love.”
