Little River Volleyball Team ‘Four-Peats’ as Class 1A DII State Champs

The Little River High School volleyball team “Four-Peated” as Kansas Class 1A Division I state champions Saturday morning at Dodge City’s United Wireless Arena.

The Redskins, who added the 2025 state title to their state titles in 2022, 2023 and 2024 championships, capped off a 44-2 campaign by defeating Centralia 25-12, 25-17.

The Redskins, coached by Kim Rolfs, continued one of the most dominant runs in Kansas volleyball history and Kansas Class 1A Division I.

Little River seniors have a career record of 162 wins, 14 losses (79-0 against Class 1A schools). Their state title wins came against Centralia in 2024, Montezuma-South Gray in 2023 and Flinthills in 2022.

In the Class 1A Division I third-place match, Montezuma-South Gray defeated Quinter 25-6, 25-16.

In the semifinals, Little River defeated Quinter 25-6, 25-16 and Centralia defeated Montezuma-South Gray 25-14, 25-22.
