The Little River varsity boys and girls and junior varsity boys and girls combined to go 4-0 Tuesday night at home against Canton Galva.
The No. 1-ranked Little River boys won 47-39 and improved to 16-1. The No. 1-ranked Little River won 69-26 and also improved to 16-1.
The Redskins led 23-19 at halftime and pushed the lead to 38-30 at the end of the third quarter. Both teams scored 8 points in the fourth quarter.
Jaren Garrison (12), Jaxson Konen (11) and Lincoln Raleigh (11) combined for 34 of Little River’s 47 points. Raleigh and Garrison combined for five 3-pointers. Garrison grabbed 7 rebounds and blocked 2 shots. Konen had 3 assists. Raleigh had 3 steals.
The Little River girls jumped to a 21-6 first quarter lead and led at halftime 45-13. The Redskins outscored the Canton-Galva girls 24-13 in the second half.
Arika Feldman led Little River with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot. Macy Schubert scored 9 points, Saelyn Raleigh 8, Avery Laffery 8 and Dempsey Lafferty 6. Raleigh also had 3 steals.
Trinity Espinoza led the Eagles with 13 points. Emerson Hoppes had 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocked shots.
The Redskins host Wakefield in varsity only makeup games Thursday against Wakefield. The girls game starts at 2 p.m., followed by the boys game.
