The Little River High School varsity girls and boys basketball teams swept Norwich Friday night at the Little River gymnasium.
The Little River varsity girls won 82-21 and the varsity boys hung on for a 52-48 victory.
In the varsity girls game, Little River (6-0) umped out to a 22-6 lead in the first half and led at halftime 41-8. The Redskins went on a 28-5 run in the third quarter and added a 13-8 fourth quarter.
Arika Feldman led the Little River girls with 26 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 6 steals and 2 blocked shots. Havana Olander added 11 points. Macy Schubert and Evie Look each scored 10 points.
Jade Samuelson and Leighton Durr led the Eagles (4-3) with 10 points each. Samuelson grabbed 8 rebounds.
In the varsity boys game, Little River led 14-7 after the first quarter and 23-15 at halftime. Norwich outscored Little River 33-30 in the second half.
Jaren Garrison led the Little River boys (4-1) with 18 points. Lincoln Raleigh and Logan Schubert each scored 9 points. Jaxson Konen contributed 6.
No statistics were available for the Norwich boys (5-3).
The Little River girls and boys teams will play at Herington on Tuesday, Peabody-Burns next Friday and at St. John next Saturday.
