The Little River High School junior varsity boys basketball team captured the Lyons JV Tournament for the second straight year.
The Redskins defeated Smoky Valley Monday night 46-29 in the championship game.
The Lyons JV boys beat Hutchinson Trinity 42-35 in the third-place game, Central Plains defeated Ellinwood 43-29 in the fifth-place game and the Lyons boys C team defeated the Larned JV boys 41-30 in the seventh-place game.
The Little River JV boys jumped out to a 17-4 first-quarter lead. The Redskins led 28-13 at halftime and 37-19 at the end of the third quarter. Smoky Valley outscored the Redskins 10-9 in the fourth quarter.
Camden Strcker led Little River with 13 points. Nash Look and Kade Feldman each scored 11. Gage Martinez added 7 and Duncan Olander 5.
Kyle Robledo-Diaz led the Vikings with 11 points. Mason Riedel scored 6, Jake McElroy 4, Tristen Bacon 4, Nicholas Carlson 2 and Nicholas Hay 2.
