The Little River High School boys basketball team advanced to the Kansas Class 1A Division I Boys Sub-State Madison Group B finals with a 58-14 over Pratt-Skyline Saturday afternoon at the Little River gymnasium.
Little River improved to 20-2. Pratt-Skyline finished the season with a 6-17 record.
The Little River Redskins will play Flinthills in the sub-state championship game on Friday. Flinthills defeated Central Burden 40-35 in the other semifinal.
Central Christian Boys 67, Marmaton Valley 51
The Hutchinson Central Christian boys basketball team blasted Marmaton Valley 67-51 in the Class 1A Division II Boys Sub-State Hartford Group A semifinal game at Moran and Hartford defeated St. Paul 73-51 at Hartford.
On Friday in the championship game, Hutchinson Central Christian will play Hartford Friday at Hartford.
Pleasanton Boys 47, Fairfield 28
The season came to an end for the Fairfield boys with a 47-28 loss to Pleasanton Saturday afternoon in the Class 1A Division I Boys Sub-State Madison Group A semifinals.
Norwich defeated Colony-Crest 53-36 in the other sub-state semifinal game Saturday at Norwich. Pleasanton will play Norwich on the sub-state finals on Friday night.
