The Little River High School girls and boys basketball teams, both ranked No.1 in Kansas Class 1A Division I, rolled past Wakefield in varsity only contests early Thursday afternoon at the Little River gymnasium.
The games were rescheduled from Jan. 26, when the state of Kansas was hit with a snowstorm.
The Little River boys, coached by Erik Base, improved to 16-1 with a 64-12 victory over Wakefield.
The Redskin boys led 21-0 after one quarter, 43-5 at halftime and 53-7 after three quarters. Little River outscored the Bombers 11-5 in the fourth quarter.
Nash Look led the Redskins in scoring with 14 points and Jaren Garrison contributed 10 points.
Jaxson Konen scored 8 points, Kade Feldman 7, Logan Schubert 6, Gage Martinez 5, Jhet Ewertt 4, Camden Strecker 3, Lincoln Raleigh 2, Blayne Baldetti 2, Ty Janette 2 and Jackson Mailloux 1.
Five Redskins had 2 assists each. Nash Look grabbed 4 rebounds. Raleigh has 3 steals.
The Wakefield boys dropped to 0-17.
The Little River girls, coached by Cy Rolfs, now are 18-1 after beating Wakefield 76-9. The Redskins led 26-1 after one quarter, 50-5 at halftime and 63-8 after three quarters. The Redskins outscored Wakefield 13-1 in the fourth quarter.
Arika Feldman led the Little River girls with 15 points, including three 3-pointers. Dempsey Lafferty scored 12 points.
Saelyn Raleigh added 8 points, Avery Lafferty 8, Adelynne Strecker 7, Macy Schubert 5, Evie Look 4, Havana Olander 4, Ashlynn Crotinger 3, Brooke White 3, Maddison Crotinger 3, Rylee McAllister 2 and Lucy Wright 2.
Caroline Thurlow led the Wakefield Bomber girls (3-14) with 3 points. Hayden Kirchner scored 2, Cheyeanne Balderson 2 and Ashley McIntire 1.
The Little River girls and boys teams play Elyria Christian Friday at McPherson, host Inman on Tuesday and host Olpe on Feb. 20.
Little River teams were assigned to the Kansas Class 1A Madison sub-state Feb. 23-28.
Wakefield plays at Solomon Friday, plays Rural Vista Monday at White City and hosts Flint Hills Christian on Tuesday.
