The Little River High School boys basketball team routed Goessel 80-18 Tuesday night at Little River. The Redskin boys now are 8-1.
The Little River boys scored 22, 24 and 24 points in the first three quarters and shut out Goessel 10-0 in the fourth quarter.
Four Little River boys scored in double figures, led by Logan Schubert with 14 points. Nash Look scored 13, Blayne Baldetti 12 and Jaren Garrison 10. Lincoln Raleigh just missed double digits with 8.
Camden Strecker had 6 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Kade Feldman also had 6 points.
The Little River varsity girls overmatched Goessel for a 62-15 victory.
Arika Feldman led the Little River girls with 14 points. Havana Olander added 12 and Evie Look 9.
Hailey Rosfeld (7) and Mackenzie Voth (6) combined for 13 of Goessel’s 15 points in the girls game.
The Little River girls are ranked No. 1 in Kansas Class 1A Division I and the Little River boys are ranked No. 3.
Little River will host Rural Vista on Friday for Homecoming.
