The No. 1 boys basketball team in Class 1A Division I (Little River) and 1A Division II’s No. 2 team (Olpe) squared off Friday night in Little River.
Olpe defeated Little River 62-57. Little River dropped to 18-2.
The Little River girls, ranked No. 1 in Class 1A Division I girls, improved to 22-2 with a 64-48 victory.
The Little River girls led at halftime 29-12 and outscored the Eagles 35-24 in the second half.
Arika Feldman led the Redskin girls with 19 points. Avery Laffery scored 14 and Havana Olander 10.
Adelynne Strecker dished off 11 assists. Olander, Laffery and Feldman each grabbed 6 rebounds. Feldman blocked 3 shots.
Lily Skalsky led the Olpe girls (16-6) with 14 points. Kayla Steinke scored 11 points and Alisa Skalsky contributed 10 points. Lily and Alisa Skalsky each had 4 assists.
