MANHATTAN, Kan. (247Sports.com) – Junior college transfer Kaden McMahan is committing to Kansas State, a source tells Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.
The 6-foot-4, 215-pound athlete garnered interest from several Power Four programs but ultimately will choose the Wildcats.
McMahan is a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports. The Tyler J.C. product is the No. 138 nationally ranked player in the JUCO ranks and checks in as the No. 16 linebacker.
At one point, McMahan was committed to TCU until coaching changes caused a change of plans for the Texas native. McMahan originally committed to Army out of Liberty Hill (Texas) High School.
Chris Klieman will hope to continue his recent success with JUCO transfers from the state of Texas. As a versatile athlete, McMahan adds some depth to K-State’s linebacker room for the 2024 season.
