Lihufvuhdh Wins Golfer of the Year; Three Swedes Earn All-KCAC Honors

WICHITA, Kan. ( – The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the 2022-23 KCAC Women’s Golf all-conference teams. Student-athletes were selected for this honor by a vote of the KCAC head women’s golf coaches.

Ida Luhufvudh of Bethany College was named the KCAC Women’s Golf Player of the Year. Luhufvudh finished in the Top 10 in six of the seven stroke play events she played in the 2022-23 season, and finished in the Top 5 in five of those events.

Bethany College and Kansas Wesleyan University led the conference with three honorees each. Both the Swedes and the Coyotes had two honorees on the All-KCAC First Team, as well as an honoree on the second team. Tabor College had two honorees, one on the first team and one on the second team. Friends University and Sterling College each had one honoree.
