Larned Jumps to Early Lead in Routing Lyons

By Brad Hallier

LYONS, Kan. – Larned scored 22 first-quarter points and didn’t relent Friday, as the Indians routed Lyons 60-0.

Luke Fisher led a punishing ground attack for Larned, as he finished with 152 rushing yards on just 15 carries and three touchdowns.

Brady Hope added 62 rushing yards, and he opened the scoring with a 3-yard touchdown run.

Fisher matched that 3-yard run, and David Colglazier had a 40-yard interception return for a touchdown. That gave Larned a 22-0 lead after one quarter.

Larned finished with 298 rushing yards and five touchdowns. Lyons had minus-12 yards rushing.

Larned will host Smoky Valley next week, while Lyons will head to Hoisington.
