The Larned High School varsity girls and boys basketball teams were swept by Hillsboro Tuesday night at home.
Hillsboro won the girls game 42-40 and the boys game 47-44.
Ella Potucek (13), Talia Jost (13) and Amayah Werth (11) scored 37 of the Hillsboro girls team’s 42 points. Brooke Simmons (11), Lauren Sieder (10) and Jadyn Crosby (10) scored 32 of Larned’s 40 points.
Braxton Hiebert led the Hillsboro Trojan boys with 18 points. Koehn Janzen added 11 and Brayson Amstutz 10. Kylier Greene led Larned with 15 points. Anthony Gonzalez scored 12.
