In Larned Group A girls games Friday, Nickerson lost to Holcomb 74-23, Colby defeated Hoisington 45-23 (Hoisington finished the season with an 11-11 record), Southwestern Heights defeated Russell 52-36 and Goodland defeated Norton 40-25.
In the Larned Group A semifinals Wednesday, Holcomb will play Colby and Southwestern Heights will play Goodland.
In Larned Group B girls games Friday, Larned defeated Scott City 45-30, Beloit defeated Cimarron 67-18, Lyons lost to Lakin 68-23 at Lakin and Ellsworth defeated Phillipsburg 49-36.
In the Larned Group B semifinals on Wednesday, Lakin plays Ellsworth and Larned plays at 6 p.m. at Beloit.
The host Larned girls led Scott City 11-7 after one quarter, 21-14 at halftime and 26-21 after three quarters. Larned outscored the Beavers 19-9 in the fourth quarter.
Jadyn Crosby led the Larned girls in scoring with 18 points. Brooke Simmons and Lauren Sleder each scored 7 points. Piper Fox led Scott City with 9 points.
