McPHERSON, Kan. (CCCTigers.com) – In a close contest, the Central Christian College Tigers faced off against the University of North Texas at Dallas Trailblazers in a game that saw the Trailblazers come out on top, winning 67-57.
The Tigers kept it close in the first quarter, only trailing by three thanks to a last second shot from beyond the 3 point line by Amaleigh Mattison as time expired on the quarter. The Trailblazers would continue their dominant presence inside and increase their lead going into the half.
Coming out of halftime, the Tigers started to find their groove. Going 6-10 from the field and 1-1 from beyond the arc, they tried to claw back. The Trailblazers lead grew to ten at the start of the fourth quarter and this was where it would stay. Despite their best efforts, the Tigers fell to the Trailblazers at home.
Charmayne Marshall led the way in points for the Tigers with 11. Cristina Laudan put up 9 with Chloe Clevenger and Kayla Hall both contributing 8 points.

The Tigers are back in action on Saturday, December 14th as they take on College of the Ozarks here at the Jerry E. Alexander Arena at 2:00PM. Saturday is also Farmers Alliance Family Night, as Farmers Alliance employees and their families get in free to both games. The games will also be streamed on the SAC Sports Network.
