KANSAS —The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference released their preseason polls on Tuesday. Friends was picked to finish atop the Franklin “Gene” Bissell Division by both the media and coaches, while Evangel was chosen as the top team in the Dr. Ted Kessinger Division in both polls.
In the Coaches’ Poll, Friends received five of the six first place votes and a total of 25 points, ahead of Southwestern with 21 in the Bissell Division. McPherson checked in at #3 and Sterling is #6. In the Kessinger Division, Evangel got five of the six first place votes and 25 points in front of Tabor with 21. Bethany was picked sixth by the coaches.

In the media poll, Friends received 56 points and eight first place votes atop the Bissell Division. Southwestern was picked second with two first place votes. McPherson checked in at #4 and Sterling is at #6. In the Kessinger Division, Evangel was a unanimous top pick with all ten first place votes. Bethany was picked in sixth by the media as well.
