KANSAS (KCACSports.com) — Oklahoma Wesleyan University, the reigning regular-season and conference tournament champion, was ranked No. 1 in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Women’s Volleyball Preseason Coaches’ Poll, the conference office announced Friday.
The Eagles secured the top spot by garnering 164 total points and eight of fourteen first-place votes. Oklahoma Wesleyan narrowly edged out McPherson College, which tallied 162 total points and the remaining six first-place votes. Rounding out the top five in the preseason poll were Evangel University (143 total points), Bethel College (132 total points), and Kansas Wesleyan University (119 total points).
