Kansas Softball Coaches Association Announces All-State Teams

TOPEKA, Kan. – The Kansas Softball Coaches Association have announced their All-State teams for the 2023 season.

The association does not name players, pitcher or coaches of the year in any of the classifications, but the five state champions are well represented on the teams.

Class 6A state champion Olathe West had four first-team selections – senior catcher Ally Miller, senior infielder Madison Walker, senior outfielder Emma Veach and sophomore pitcher Brevyn Kellepouris.

Class 5A state champion Valley Center had five first-team selections – senior pitcher Tori Turner, senior infielders Maci George and Lucy Hooper, senior utility/designated player Sykora Smith and freshman outfielder Aubrey Perry.

Class 4A state champion Wamego had three first-team selections – senior pitcher Mya Gallagher, senior infielder Ashten Pierson and sophomore pitcher Peyton Hardenberger.

Class 3A state champion Rossville had two first-team selections – senior pitcher Brinley Dyche and junior infielder Kinsey Perine.

Class 2-1A state champion McLouth, the only unbeaten team in the state, had four first-team selections – senior pitcher Corissa Bandel, senior catcher Jillian Holwick, sophomore outfielder Cresinda Bandel and sophomore utility/designated player Dani Lee.
