INMAN, Kan. – Josiah Buller, a senior at Inman High School has signed a letter of intent to play football next season at Bethel College. Josiah is the son of Pastor Eric Buller, Sara Dick and the late Ruth Buller.
Josiah chose Bethel College because it is a family tradition to attend Bethel. He also mentioned that he enjoys the community, and that the campus has a great atmosphere. Buller will major in Business, and on the football field he is expected to be playing defensive back.
Buller’s incredible senior football season included him at quarterback for five games, where he had had 65 passing attempts, completing 39 for 672 yards, with 12 touchdowns and only one interception. In the six games played at running back, he had 49 carries for 153 yards, and a touchdown. In his 11 games as a defensive back, Josiah had 76 total tackles, four interceptions, and three fumble recoveries
Inman Head Football Coach Lance Sawyer congratulated Buller on pursuing his dream to play college football at Bethel College, he said, Josiah was a two-year starter as well as team captain. His determination, unselfishness, and intelligence has led us to two consecutive State Championship appearances.” Sawyer concluded by looking forward to seeing Buller competing on Saturday’s saying, “Josiah will be missed, but he has left behind a legacy here at Inman.”
