Inman High School had a busy week of Teuton Volleyball and Cross Country between Thursday, Sept. 18, and Tuesday, Sept. 23, facing stiff competition.
VOLLEYBALL
The Inman Varsity Volleyball team hosted Hutchinson-Trinity Catholic in a Double Dual at home Thursday, Sept. 18, winning both matches. The Teutons won the first matchup in two sets (25-7, 25-12), doing the same in the second matchup (25-11, 25-14).
Inman then headed to Marion for the Modified Quad on Tuesday, Sept. 23. They defeated both opponents in the quad, defeating Marion in three sets (25-19, 22-25, 25-20) and Berean Academy in two sets (25-19, 25-10).
CROSS COUNTRY
The Inman Cross Country team ran in the Buhler Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 18, racing against big schools around the area.
The Boys team was led by Tyler Martisko, who finished 12th in the varsity 5K. Riley Roots finished not far behind Martisko in 14th. Hunter Schrader finished 25th in the JV 5K.
The Girls team was led by Loki Turcotte with a 48th-place finish. Abigail Siemens finished not far behind in 55th. Natalie Siemens led the JV teutons, finishing in 14th, but Jayden Roots finished just two spits behind her.
