Track & Field – The Inman High School Track & Field team had two meets last week, starting off with a dominating performance Tuesday, April 29 at the Lyons CKTL Meet.
Both the girls and boys team won the event, with the girls winning by 62 points and the boys by 39. The teams won 18 events in total against five other area schools, including showing domination in the field events.
Addison Wedel won the Girls Pole Vault by a foot. Suttyn Harris and Allee Mannebach went Nos. 1 & 2 in the Girls Long Jump. Morgan Froese and Ella Compton also went Nos. 1 & 2 in the Girls Discus as well as the Shot Put.
Sebastian Martinez won the Boys Pole Vault by a foot as well. Malachi Brunk won the Boys Javelin. Freshman Bo O’Neil won the Boys Discus, throwing 13 feet farther than a senior who finished in 2nd.

The teams then traveled to Hillsboro for the James Thomas Invitational Friday, May 2. The girls team finished in 7th and the boys in 6th. 17 schools in total participated in the invite. CLICK HERE to view the results of Friday’s invite.
Softball – Inman High School’s Varsity Softball team continues to stay strong through the season, sweeping Hillsboro and Trinity Catholic in dominating fashion.
The Lady Teutons swept Hillsboro Tuesday, April 29 13-2 and 10-2. They followed up Friday, May 2 with sweeps of Trinity Catholic, winning both matchups 15-0. The team is 13-1 and will be back in action Tuesday, May 6 at Sterling.
Baseball – The Inman Baseball team went 1-3 in the last week. The team was swept at home Tuesday, April 29 against Sedgwick, losing 12-0 and 10-4. The team then split Trinity Catholic, winning 8-7 despite Trinity’s comeback efforts. However, they lost in game two 7-2.
The team is now 10-8 on the year. They are back in action Friday, May 9 at Remington.
Boys Golf – The Inman Boys Golf team held their home invitational Monday, April 28 at Crazy Horse Golf Course. Inman placed 7th as a team with a score of 440.
Creighton Fries placed 21st with 103, Braeden Stuzman finished just two strokes behind in 24th. Keetan McEuen finished just behind Stutzman for 25th.
The varsity team will head to Marion Tuesday, May 6 for their next meet.
