HUTCHINSON, Kan. (BlueDragonSports.com) – Hutchinson Community College sophomore forward Haley Rogers was named the KJCCC Division I Women’s Soccer Player of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday.
The sophomore forward from Maize had a goal and two assists in a pivotal 3-3 draw against No. 19 Hutchinson that helped No. 14 Hutchinson secure third place in the final KJCCC standings and earned the third overall seed in the upcoming Region 6 Tournament. That game was Hutchinson’s lone action of the final week of the regular season.
Rogers now has team highs of 13 goals and 35 points to go with nine assists this season.
Rogers also won the award in Week 2.
This is the sixth a Blue Dragon player has won KJCCC Player or Goalkeeper of the Week honors this season.
