Hutchinson High School senior Jalen Crable, a 6-foot-3 guard/forward, will attend Bethel College in North Newton to continue his academic and basketball career.
The Bethel College Threshers posted a 22-9 record during the 2025-26 season (16-6 in KCAC play, 12-3 at home, 8-5 on the road, 2-1 on neutral courts).
The Threshers lost to Southwestern 67-65 in the KCAC quarterfinals, but still earned a berth in the NAIA National Tournament in Henderson, Tenn.
Bethel College defeated Loyola College, La. (New Orleans) 74-71 in the first round of the NAIA Tournament and lost to eventual NAIA Tournament champion Freed-Hardeman 80-72 in the second round.
