The Hutchinson Trinity Catholic High School volleyball team opens the season with a home double dual Sept. 2 (Tuesday) against Ell-Saline.
Trinity coach Lauren Cost’s Celtics posted a 14-19 overall record in 2024, but finished 8-7 in district play. Cost is assisted by Jan Frieb.
“We graduated seven seniors, so this year will be a rebuilding year with only one varsity letterwinner
Seniors on the team are Cadalei Barnes and Sofia Ortiz. Juniors are Eiley Cost, Brecken Dowsey, Madilyn Heiten, Cienna Maskil, Melanie Maya, Kara Nelson, Adriana Suter and Rocio Urueta.
Sophomores are Hannia Alaya, Natalie Bowlby, Alyssa Guajardo, Claire Gust and Kenady Pedigo. Freshmen are Sienna Blea, Emma Charbonneau, Azylyn Cost, Sophia Kiser, Olivia Parker-Babcock and Zoey Rios.
