Hutchinson CC’s Graf’s Big Week Nets KJCCC Volleyball Honors

HUTCHINSON, Kan. (BlueDragonSports.com) – Hutchinson Community College freshman outside hitter Viktoria Graff averaged a league-best 3.67 kills per set in five matches last week. She, on Tuesday, was named the KJCCC Division I Volleyball Player of the Week.

Graf, a 6-foot-2 freshman outside from Zwetti, Austria, led the Blue Dragons to a 3-2 week, including a 3-1 mark in the McCook Invitational. That tournament produced a nationally ranked victory over then-No. 9 Indian Hills.

Graf had a huge week for Hutchinson, averaging a .249 attack percentage on 77 total kills.

Graf had a career-high 27 kills while hitting .396 in Hutchinson’s five-set victory over Lamar.

She posted her first career double-double with 12 kills and 10 digs in a five-set victory over number nine-ranked Indian Hills.

Graf had three double-doubles in five matches last week against Indian Hills, Western Nebraska (18 kills, 14 digs), and North Platte (12 kills, a career-high 18 digs).

The Blue Dragons will travel to Seward County on Wednesday and play in the Odessa Invitational Thursday through Saturday in Odessa, Texas.
