
Kevin Moorer, an edge rusher from Hutchinson Community College, has committed to the University of Arizona Wildcats after making an official visit last week.
Moorer’s commitment announcement was posted on the Arizona Desert Swarm online site azdesertswarm.com.
“I would like to thank (HutchCC) coach Drew Dallas for giving me a second chance,” More said. “I told him he was not going to regret it. With that been said, I am 1000% committed to Arizona.”
Moorer, 6-foot-4, 277 pounds, is listed by 247Sports as the No. 118 JUCO prospect in the country. He is rated as a 3-star prospect.
Moorer, originally from Alabama, has played in 10 games this season for Hutchinson, notching 25 tackles (7.5 for loss) with 2.5 sacks.
The Blue Dragons, who are unbeaten and ranked No. 1 in the country, host Northwest Mississippi in the NJCAA Division I playoffs on Dec. 6 at Gowans Stadium in Hutchinson.
Moorer is the 21st known commitment for Arizona’s 2026 recruiting class. He is the fifth defensive line recruit.
Arizona’s 2026 recruiting class is currently ranked 33rd in among NCAA Division I programs by 247Sports and fifth-best in the Big 12.
HutchCC’s Michael Graham de-commits from Minnesota
Hutchinson Community College defensive back Michael Graham Jr. de-committed from the Minnesota Golden Gophers football program on Nov. 27. After making a verbal commitment on Nov. 9.
Sports Illustrated si.com reported Graham’s decision.
“After a thoughtful conversation with my family I will be de-committing for the University of Minnesota. I like to thank all the coaches and staff there, and I appreciate them for believing in me and giving me a opportunity,” he posted on X.
Graham, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound sophomore, played high school football at Westmoore in Oklahoma City before going the junior college route.
Graham was a three-star recruit in the class of 2024, and held offers from Houston, Tulsa and Central Oklahoma before joining Kansas powerhouse HutchCC.
Graham has played 10 games for the Hutchinson Blue Dragons. Graham has compiled 31 total tackles, 5.5 TFLs, one sack and six interceptions.
He picked up notable offers from Michigan State, Kansas State and West Virginia, among others, before originally settling on Minnesota.
The latest 247Sports Composite ranks Graham as the 31st-overall player in the class, and the No. 1 safety.
Graham was the first of three players from HutchCC to originally commit to Minnesota earlier this month, but he now joins wide receiver Derrick Salley Jr. as the second to back off their pledge this week.
Salley flipped his commitment from Minnesota to Kansas State on last week. Graham also has an offer from the Wildcats.
HutchCC defensive lineman KJ Henson, a 6-foot-3, 289-pound sophomore, remains committed to the Minnesota program.
