The Hoisington High School boys basketball team improved to 13-9 with a 57-24 victory over Larned Friday night at the Hoisington Activities Center.
Hoisington’s Mason Martin scored 23 points (including four 3-pointers in the first quarter) to spark the Cardinal boys. Koby Lang led the Indians with 10 points.
The Larned girls improved to 17-6 with a 47-30 victory over Hoisington.
In the girls game, Larned’s Jadyn Crosby scored 14 points and Brooke Simmons chipped in 11 points.
The Larned Indians girls attempted zero free throws to tie a rare record.
