Haven High School girls basketball coach Dwight Roper will guide the South girls team at the Central Kansas All-Star Basketball Classic Sunday at Barton Community College’s Kirkman Activities Center.
The All-Star games will feature 24 of the top senior girls and 22 of the top senior boys from central Kansas.
The girls All-Star game tips off at 3 p.m., followed by the boys All-Star game at 5 p.m.
Roper will get to coach one of his players for the last time. Haven’s Avery Brawner is a member of the South girls team. Also playing for the South team are Pratt’s Hope Hughes, Moundridge’s Cammi Unruh and Andale’s Brooke Grimes.
Little River High School senior Arika Feldman is a member of the North girls team, which will be coached by Ellsworth’s Craig Batchman.
Pratt’s Arley Morrell is a member of the East boys team, coached by South Central’s Bud Valerius,
The West boys team, coached by Hoisington’s Kyle Haxton, features Sterling’s Blake Smith, Little River’s Jaxon Konen, Hoisington’s Mason Martin, Moundridge’s Kaizer Kanitz and Easton Shahan, Ell-Saline’s Trey Williams and Berean Academy’s Nolan Sweazy.
