Haven, Central Christian, Sterling, Little River Football Teams Still Unbeaten in Week 5

Four area schools are still unbeaten entering into Week 5 of the Kansas high school football season. They are Haven, Central Christian, Sterling and Little River.

There are 47 undefeated Kansas football teams, according to Sports in Kansas.

The list does not include the 4-0 Reno County Sabres Homeschool team, which is an “approved school” by the KSHSAA.

The Sabres have defeated four Eight-Man II teams this season. The Sabres have three Eight-Man teams and two 11-man programs left on their schedule.

Undefeated teams in Kansas are Maize, Class 6A; Basehor-Linwood, Great Bend, Kansas City Washington, Liberal, Salina Central, St. Thomas Aquinas, Class 5A.

Kapaun-Mount Carmel, Class 4A; Andale, Holcomb, Hugoton, Rock Creek, Santa Fe Trail, Scott City, Topeka Hayden, Class 3A.

Council Grove, Ellsworth, Haven, Hoisington, Nemaha Central, Osage City, Russell, Sabetha, Southeast of Saline, Class 2A; Jackson Heights, Jefferson County North, Marion, Smith Center, St. Mary’s Colgan, Sterling, Class 1A.

Kinsley, Lincoln, Little River, Lyndon, Madison, Oxford, Skyline, South Central, Sylvan-Lucas, Wakeeney-Trego, Eight-Man I.

Axtell, Hanover, Hodgeman County, Hutchinson Central Christian, Sharon Springs-Wallace County, Victoria, Eight-Man II; Ingalls, Six-Man.
