the Haven Wildcat girls and boys basketball teams rolled to a pair of pre-Christmas break victories over Belle Plaine Friday night at the Haven High School gymnasium.
The Haven boys posted a 51-37 victory and the Haven girls posted a 53-35 victory.
Rilynn Patry had a “double double” led the Haven girls with 16 points and 16 boards. Avery Brawner was a rebound shy of a “double-double” with 18 points and 9 rebounds.
The Haven Wildcat girls improved to 5-2 overall and the Haven Wildcat boys are 3-4. The Belle Plaine Dragon girls are 4-3 and the Dragos boys are 0-7.
The Haven Wildcat boys and girls basketball teams will return from Christmas break to host Wichita Trinity Academy on Jan. 2.
