The Hesston boys and Sterling boys are ranked No. 1 in Classes 3A and 2A and the Halstead girls, Moundridge girls and Little River girls are first in Classes 3A, 2A and 1A Division I in the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association Week 2 rankings released on Tuesday.
The next KBCA rankings will be released on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
Pratt moved up to third in Class 4A, McPherson and Andale dropped to seventh and ninth.
Hesston and Cheney are ranked first and eighth in Class 3A boys.
Sterling and Moundridge are ranked first and second in 2A boys and Canton-Galva is 10th. Little River is No. 6 in Class 1A Division I boys.
Hutchinson Central Christian, Elyria Christian and Cunningham are ranked third, fourth and fifth in Class 1A Division II boys.
ÃŽn 4A girls, Andale and Buhler and McPherson are ranked fifth and seventh. McPherson, ranked 10th last week, dropped out of the rankings this week.
Halstead and Hesston are ranked first and 10th in 3A girls. Moundridge and Inman are ranked first and second in 2A girls.
Little River is No. 1 in Class 1A Division I girls. Hutchinson Central Christian is ranked eighth in Class 1AÂ Division II girls.
